Situated such that it provides an amazing view of more than 60 miles of coastline; this is a grand place to which we’re lucky enough to have returned multiple times.
We've sat on the front deck and watched whales off of Laguna Point for hours to the south, and the tide pools in the many secluded coves in front of the house can be fascinating.
The view to the north includes much of the Lost Coast, which shines brilliantly in summer months, and where snow has occasionally been seen on the distant coastal peaks in the winter.
It's a beautiful place during fair weather, but being here during "Bad Weather" might have been the most special; the expansive windows of the upstairs Dining and Living Room areas provide a warm and safe place from which to witness the power of Nature during storms in a way that few people other than Lighthouse Keepers might ever have experienced.

Great place to relax. Minutes from Fort Bragg and Mendocino. Beautiful home with lots of ocean views. Great second story deck that is just across the street from the waves. Perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while enjoying the views! I would definitely recommend this home to enjoy the ocean and beach.

The Pelican House is an amazing property and a perfect place for family and friends to spend time by the ocean. The house itself is beautiful and set up for large families or family and friends. I would recommend this place for holidays with dinners at home as a highlight. Fully functional kitchen and the dining room is situated in the perfect place for conversations while viewing the ocean backdrop. Tons of outdoor deck area and plenty of parking. The two story house provides great separation so large groups don't feel like they are all jammed in together. With the game room downstairs and a separate living room and TV, the grown ups and kids can enjoy their own space. You won't be disappointed!
